I too was skeptical that a little bit of WD40 would magically make my stupid latch function normal again. Purchased replacement part from GMC but can't get it open to even work on it. I can extend it but it won't budge at all. I got the latch thru the mail and its the worng part.

Console & rear components, without seat heater. is there another model truck that i could swap this with that would work better?
