Absolutely brilliant film.Watched it again and again.So clever.Fantastic acting.You will never guess the ending.
The plots seems to lose its way half way through and the twists are predictable, but somehow I still enjoyed it. This was my favorite movie when it first came out, and I still love it. Four teenagers at a British private school secretly uncover and explore the depths of a sealed underground hole created decades ago as a possible bomb shelter. Group of youngsters decide to party in an old shaft when things start going iffy and they cannot get out so emotions get taught. It reminded me of the original cube film. I have only good words about Desmond Harrington, Daniel Brocklebank, Laurence Fox, Keira Knightly and always very charming Embeth Davidtz as well. Martin proposes a solution to both of Liz's problems; he's found an underground bunker built during World War II near the school grounds, and he arranges a little party in which Liz and Mike will spend the three days of the field trip in the bunker, with class couple Geoff (Laurence Fox) and Frankie (Keira Knightley) going along, giving Liz a perfect chance to impress Mike with her charm. You must be at least 18 years old and you must agree that you are not offended by mature content to view this group. The movie benefits from an excellent performance from Thora Birch, an original idea, and Keira Knightly in perhaps her first film is excellent and gorgeous even at this age.

Mystery & Suspense I first had interest in this movie mainly because I have been a longtime fan of the star actress, Thora Birch. Although not difficult to work out it is still a great watch. I actually looked for this under Keira Knightley but if anyone has seen this movie, they will know its Thora Birch who plays it the best. It's not the Stephen King-like hair-raiser about some pituitous monsters you just can't believe. Although Mike does kill Geoff, it is an impulsive accident. So I definitely was surprised at the strength of this movie and the twists of plot- I was surprised and impressed, I would recommend anyone to see this, especially if you like psychological thrillers and movies of the mind.
